When I was a teenager, my grandma taught me how to crochet. Her home was always filled with crocheted afghans and skeins of yarn. I placed this hobby on a hiatus status for a while when I graduated high school and went off into the Army, but within the past few years I've picked it back up with a passion. It's a great hobby that has grown near and dear to my heart. Not only do a continue on a family tradition, I create beautiful heirlooms and other loved handmade items.  It's amazing to see how my creativity with hook and thread could turn into something praise worthy. Along the way I've picked up the interest in sewing. I'm not good with the sewing machine, but I enjoy working up cute felt projects. I guess the felt is a bit more forgiving.

Through this site I hope to share my passion for crochet and encourage others to pick-up the hook and to crochet on, or try some other crafty projects.

Happy hookin' and stitchin'!
